Hi, not sure if this is the right community for this post or I need to look elsewhere but I’m hoping for some advice.
I have been eating moderately healthy for about 10 years now but recently my habits have dropped resulting in weight gain. I’m not obsessed with weighing myself so it isn’t a huge issue. However I’d like to turn this excess fat into something positive, so I’m trying a cutting diet. I have dropped my calorie intake p/d from 2800 to 2300. and I have upped my protein intake, and I am going to the gym 4 times a week. My thought process with this is that it will sort of ‘firm up’ the excess fat resulting in a more toned figure. Then I plan to up my calorie intake and lift heavier and then repeat the process.
Is there any way this could be improved? It’s not that I’m not seeing results as it’s too early to tell, but if there’s any glaringly obvious mistakes in my plan it’d be nice to know.
If anyone has any input that’d be hugely appreciated!
