I’m looking to optimize how I can spend my money for my family to not run out of food and have good meals for them.
The tough thing is, my family loves snacks, and I know it’s hurting our budget. Cotsco visits of $150 plus consist mainly of snacks that are gone within the week. I have two toddlers my oldest is so picky, only eats ramen noodles, buttered noodles, chicken nuggets, rice, waffles, turkey sandwiches etc. He will not touch anything else and doesn’t want to, making it hard when I cook since he won’t usually eat it.
My youngest will eat anything as long as it isn’t green.
I think we eat too much meat, it’s in every meal and its the most expensive thing to buy. But I honestly don’t know many recipes without it. Beans? Rice? Lentils? I would love to keep my budget at $600 a month or under, but it seems so hard when my little minions are so hard to please.
